The Lonely Bachelor: Day Three- Hobby Discovery Day

I'm back from my vacation, and once again have good internet access. I still have a few days before school starts (I'm starting graduate school this year), so expect FREQUENT updates. I plan on catching up on the several days I haven't blogged today, and then going back to playing & blogging as I go for the rest of the weekend. Of course, I have some RL tasks to accomplish, but I plan on taking many Sim breaks (I'm going to enjoy my last weekend of peace until Christmas). I don't want to harass everyone with e-mails after each update. So, don't expect another one until after I am all caught up. However, I will post several times throughout the day, so if you are bored and want to keep checking...please do so!

Hmm...looks like I don't have enough pictures for this day. :( This is what happens when you fall behind on your blogging...you don't get the constant reminders to take more photos.


Day 3 was a mini-challenge called "Hobby Discovery Day". All day the contestants and the Bachelor, tried out as many hobby activities as possibly in order to discover the hobby that they are naturally enthusiastic about.

At the end of the day, the contestants whose hobby matched that of the Bachelor earned 1 on 1 time with the Bachelor. Well, that was the plan anyway.

The day was a lot of fun for everyone, and the contestants interacted with each other quite a bit. Each contestant tried the following activities until they found their niche (and then they got to take a break): poker, the treadmill, dance bar, train set, birdwatching, telescope, watching movies, cooking, tossing a football/playing catch, painting/pottery...and I think that's everything. I double checked to make sure everyone tried every activity up to at least 1 bar of enthusiasm. However, some Sims ran out of time, and were not able to try everything.

At the end of the day, here were the contestant results"
Rachel- Games
Mariel- Science
Libbey- Science
Buddy- Didn't have enough time to try everything, but I am pretty sure he would have been fitness given his Out/Act personality.

Sasha, Fitzwilliam, and Brittany did NOT discover an activity they were naturally good at.

The Bachelor ALSO did not discover his talent (totally unexpected for me). So, in the end Buddy, Sasha, Fitzwilliam, and Brittany ALL got 1 on 1 time with the Bachelor.

I am still taking contestants for my challenges. I plan to have several Bachelor & Bachelorette challenges. I will keep posting more as long as I have enough contestants.

* Many of my bachelors & bachelorettes will not have gender preferences to start. I will allow them to develop that on their own. So both genders will be welcome in many challenges. However, if you'd like your Sim to have a specific gender preference please note it above, and I will make sure they are placed in an appropriate challenge. However, this may mean a longer wait to get placed.

You are encouraged to submit multiple Sims and Simselves. I have all expansion & stuff packs. Custom content needs to either a) be included in file or b) provided in a link, but is welcome.
